Lude Generation

The ludes do seem to pick up a few dents&dings in the doors - this seems especially true of 4th gens due to the curved shape of the door.
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with companies such as dentmaster or similar to get these fixed.
If so what was the result and price
Also has anyone tried fixing these dents themsleves.....
Any info/feedback would be appreciated.

I am not from UK, but while my Lude was not a garage queen, a neighbor dropped a fork from 4th floor that landed on my rear hood.

Dent was quite big, like 2 inches wide and half an inch deep, but no paint damage. I had a company specialized in dent removal fix it, it was like 20GBP per dent and after they were done, even I couldn't tell where the dent was.

Doing my job (smart repairs) I use dent guys all the time as it saves filling and paint while panels if no paint is damaged.

In my eyes £20 per dent is very optimistic.
My guys are around £90+vat give it take and depends on how severe it is, weather it will glue pull out or if it can be access from behind our down the door/window trim.

My dad has a dent in his jag xe hire car last week, that was £220 all in to remove however is was in Cheltenham.

It's quite a skill so don't do it yourself, even I cannot do it. Find a decent guy.

I have a guy, Mark from Panel Perfect, he does a great job and I've had similar experiences in that even i couldn't tell where it was, sometimes after the work is complete there are slight 'wobbles' in the reflection as Mark likes to call them, but you really have to look really hard to find them.

Cost wise he tends to charge around £60 per dent but the more you fix at a time the less it costs, on my DC5 i counted 15 dings about a year after i got it (most were already there) but Mark could see more then i. In the end it cost about £220 for the lot which if you work it out is very cheap per dent. Im not too sure if that cost per dent is because im a repeat customer or not though...

that's who we used in Cheltenham on Friday. I though he was expensive but it was an urgent repair to save £1500 excess on the hire car. I would have had to fill and paint the whole door otherwise.

I've tried myself with a £10 hot glue puller on a stud. I've found it only works on specific size and shapes to get it perfect but after a few times of pulling it's a huge difference. However on tiny dents you've got no chance with this thing. And thats why my cars getting a complete body work overhaul done in a few weeks
