Lude Generation

If I drop my window a touch to let some air in whlie it's raining with my wind deflectors, it annoying rattles

Anyone got any idea's what's loose/rusted?

That happened on my old lude. I just off the door card and tighten those bolts that hold the glass to the motor and it was fine after that.

yeah might do just tightening the bolts or you could putsome sealant/adhesive in there as well-ive been meaing to do the passenger window on my lude for at least a couple of years

The bit where the glass joins the motor mechanism is covered in a pink rubber (chewing gum) type glue.

I'm pretty sure this was a known service manual addition, I have the fix printed out somewhere, but it involves a block of wood and a hammer

Ammo, See the black circle on the flat side of the window? Try turning it clockwise - rubber gloves might help you grip.

This. Mine does it, the passenger side a bit as well. I think it has something to do with the runners, but I haven't done anything about it.

Hmm wonder if I use this to adjust where my windows sit in the doors enough to close the glass up against the weather strip - at the moment there's like a 3mm gap so all the rain goes inside my doors and I can't clear water drops from the windows by dropping and raising them again...
