Which white is white? Picking a colour

Afternoon Luders,
I have been off the radar for a while now as I have been busy building/rally a Micra across Marocco (uni project), but I'm now back and looking to give the Lude some much needed TLC.
I've decided on doing a near complete restoration and I've started the homework side of things choosing a new colour. I'm leaning heavily towards white. What's the difference between diamond pearl and premium pearl?
(Internet photos don't show the pearl effect clearly)
Any other suggestions on colour are welcome!

Diamond white has a more blue/yellow hue to the pearl as it contains more pearl blue.
Premium white is a tab more pearl white.
Both are extremely similar but Diamond white has the edge imo. But you can change that with the amount of pearl layers you do.
The one I wish I painted my car in when I resprayed mine is platinum white pearl from the s2000. That's propper creamy. I love it.

Thanks for the advice Ratty, I've been looking at platinum pearl on nsx's and it's an awesome colour, although I think I'd prefer a more "white-out" white and not so creamy... it looks so classy though. What's it like keeping with white clean on a daily basis? The reason why black is out of the ecuation is how high maintenance it is to keeeping it looking on point.
I read somewhere that they changed diamond pearl for premium because it was easier to paint... one thing I know for sure is that I'm avoiding "fridge white"!

Platinum white pearl
Diamond white pearl
Premium pearl white
It's not easy to tell from photos

I was steering towards DWP until Ratty just suggested platinum white and now it is growing on me

It's nonsense about it being easier to paint. It's literally one tint difference. The base white coats are the same. The pearl had different tints. They are all 3 stage pearls so they are hard to paint no matter what. Even more difficult when trying to repair a panel and blend the new color to the old even if the old colour is new.
Check out my profile thread on here somewhere around 2013 I resprayed mine. Pics are there.

You did a brilliant job on the paint finish Ratty and I'm really starting to dig the colour. The only thing that puts me off is that all the chavs here in Spain paint their Hyundai coupes and Seat Leons white/blue pearl (leds included), not the same tint but still pearl white

. It gives pearl whites a bad rap. I'm going to sleep on it and see.

imho white is worse than black to keep looking on point.
