Wheel refurbishment - Now with pics

Post by Scott560 » Thu Jul 18, 2019 11:08 pm

I've gone for 215/40/17 , hoping to increase the visual appeal of the wheels by making the tyres seem a little smaller, and i can make up for any arch gap by lowering the teins slightly. I need to give them a fiddle anyways. Away this weekend so wont get the wheels on the car, but hopefully next weekend i can get some pictures up.

Gone for Michelin Pilot Sport 4, seems to be the best of the bunch. Always used to go for best bang for buck, but the soft rubber tyres (toyo proxes, uniroyal rainsport, the old f1 gsd3s) don't last long, so treated myself to some decent rubber for a change.

Good news is this gives me the original 5th gen 16 inches with my track tyres for track days.
