I.T.R dc2 front end???

Hey guys and girls,
After a few pics of my lude being taken at south mimms me and a mate have decide that the front end of a gen4 lude is similar to a dc2..... How hard do u think it would be to fit the front end of a dc2 onto my lude? I have seen it done on an eg coupe civic and apparently it didn't take much work? All oppinions accepted

UK spec or JDM ITR? ..I'm struggling to picture a g4 lude with 4 round headlights..

Front end will fit an eg9 as its the same floorpan as a db6 itr so alot of parts are interchangeable between dc2/db6 & eg chadsis.
Could be done but would need a fair bit of fabrication

Well going by the ITR front lip fitting snuggly over the lude's front lip, I'd say the widths are pretty much bang on. I recon cut'n'shutting the front end of a teg's wing onto the back end of a lude's wing would be the way to go. God knows how a teg's bonnet will measure up on a lude though.

JDM DC2 with those long lights would look the best.
go or it mate. All our preludes are cheap anyways.

..could you not do the same thing? chop off the leading edge of the 'lude bonnet and blend in a 'teg one?

Why on Earth would you want to do this?
The 4th gen' has one of the best front ends of any car. If it was a fif, I would understand.

Some longer headlights to cover the funny snotdrils might be an idea, but a DC front sounds like a right mess.

i thought the whole point of getting a lude was to not get a itr
i would be eaiser to just sell the lude and get one
they were a bodge in the first place, take a 4th gen lude roof and windows weld them to a 5th gen!
throw in a bit of celica and supra to pee off the compition and hey presto
ITR!!!
