Hi Peops
I have an annoying issue with My paintwork.
It's only on the bonnet and top of rear bumper.
It was a bit tricky taking photos of it but hopefully You guy's and make them out
Areas are scratched and dull.
Hoping someone may know what had caused it and any ideas of a possible remedy without having to repaint.
Cheers all

That's cheap lacquer from a previous respray. Unfortunately it's a sand out and start again repaint.

I had the rear bumper on my 4th gen repainted a while back and it looks similar to your back bumper but i think on my bumper it is where it has been wet sanded. I recently bought some dodo juice blue hard wax and this really works in hiding it. Looks spot on after the wax has been applied a few times and lasts many months imo. You might want to give that a go - it was only £7 or £8 for a small tin - bought on ebay.

Hi Guys

Many thanks for your replies
I had a guy use some compound in My rear bumper with a mop and it came up great.
He didn't have much time on it as I just turned up on the off chance and He was about to finish work.
He says if I take it back He will do My bonnet and the rear bumper.
Needs a couple of hours so I will see what the outcome is and will post some pics
Cheers for the polish link I will give it a try.

Hi All
Had the Lude compound Mopped and polished on the damaged area only.
So just the top of rear bumper and the bonnet.
Came out pretty good
Just going to give it a good wax.

Cheers

Result. Must have been a bit of lacquer drop back. Happens sometimes when the lacquer is too thick. Easy to rectify as you have seen.
