Doing the body up

Post by vito » Fri Feb 25, 2011 10:55 pm

hey everyone, so the time has come:

Tomorrow i am going to give my V-Mobile some TLC!!!!

There is a loads to do in terms of bodywork:
1. rear bumper is attached using sellotape
2. the splitter had a missing piece (about 30cm) i have attached it but not finished it of with the touch of paint.
3. some rust on wheel arches
4. few dents, stone chips, and paint gaps.
5. front discs and pads and rear pads replacement
6. paint calipers (red??)

i will go!! and do it all up....then:

yes, just received it: Colour - white. i will have a go at installing decals, i think viper stripes go first :D as i might not finish the bodywork on time but we'll see.

i have 2 days and hopefully it will look all different on Monday.
i will get pictures up (step by step guide maybe)

wish me luck :)

and finally as i cannot afford new OZ's in white i will paint mine white for time being.

cheers Ammo for your honesty and yeah i know its not every ones cup of tea but hey, i never had decals on a car so why not. it was only £30 and i can always remove it if i get bored. but i think it will look good, will see. it is raining now so i might delay the work afterall. ;)

Oh Dear! I've just read this.
Viper stripes should be used on a Viper, nothing else.
Red calipers?..............Sooo last century!
Your time would be better spent getting the bodywork up to scratch.

It's your car though, so knock yourself out. :-|
