As far as I'm aware, you need to buy new trim and clips to refit the windows ..so on that basis, I would say you can cut them out, providing you have already sourced replacements. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

Mmmm I guess I will leave it so, I see it had to be cut from the inside. Any idea how much new trims cost from Honda for the front and rear windscreens? I should be going for a full respray in the summer, and some of trims will need replaced and would make a better spray job if they where off.

I'm sure I saw trims for about £20 each a couple of days ago, can't remember where though, possibly eBay...

if you are talking about the BB1-4 4th gen, then no.....the rear quarter windows are moulded as one complete unit. You have to be very careful to remove these in tact - to be able to replace. I had a pro remove mine for the bare shell respray, and it was a difficult job.

Yep, same as Tim, had mine removed by a pro window fitter for the respray (as with the front/rear windscreens)
The UKDM rear quarter windows you wouldn't know they've been out, but the JDM unfortunately you can tell.
I'll get them replaced eventually because it pisses me off, but they're over a hundred smackers each and I'm worried about damage to the new paint too, so it's down the list...
Think the rear windscreen trim is bonded to the glass too - it comes out like that, anyway.
The front screen trim can be removed and refitted, just use new clips.
By far and away the best place for clips is here:

That's the full set for less than Honda charge for just 2 of the clips!
They also sell the new trim. That's the OEM Honda trim, but slightly cheaper than buying direct from Honda.

Yep, the rear screen is bonded in place, likely the trim will get damaged when removed, and is about £70 to replace.
Took me 2 hours to remove mine with a sharp blade.
