in builds think of it as having vtec all the time not just at certain rpm...

the before vtec is improved...

like vtec killer camshafts for example

Re boring focus lol my mates car and I slag him off daily for buying a modern boring shopping car but as others have said hugely capable motor which on the road will keep up with most sports car point to point

right when we're saying the dyno read down 20% roughly. what one is right :

This is as if the figure from the dyno is the equivalent to 0.8 of the total power...
173.9 / 8 = 21.7375 which would be 10% so... 10 x 21.7375 = 217.375

or are we adding 20% roughly of what the dyno read...
173.9 x 1.2 = 208.68

I believe it is the first one (and hope it is as the car as standard is 217bhp) am i right at saying the first one is correct ?

Yeah if you take 217 as the figure you would expect your car to put out, 173.9 is 19.9% down on that. Al the Ludes were around 20% down.

Neat stuck the IM and TB on myself the other day but not sure about the effects until it gets mapped ?

That means I made 220bhp :D

Take into account I was running rich and that's just about what you would expect. Just wish I had braved the cold and reset the ECU the previous day after the methanol overdose :evil:
