Also if anyone else has a BBQ they are more than welcome to bring it. If anyone has any preference let me know so I can get an order made.

This weekend (Sunday 6th July) will see Knockhill host its second themed Hot Hatch Trackday of the season. Following on from our popular Ford Live event, this weekend’s Jap Fest and Hot Hatch will see literally hundreds of Japanese themed cars on show and on track.

Car Clubs from up and down the county will be making their way to Fife this weekend to join like-minded car enthusiasts to display, preen and polish their vehicles before competing in various Show ‘n’ Shine competitions. Make no mistake, these guys literally spend hours upon hours, making sure their motors’ are in pristine condition, before, after and during the event. With it being a Japanese themed event we are likely to see a whole of Japanese marques on show; including models from Honda, Subaru, Nissan, Mitsubishi and Toyota, amongst other.

Hot Hatch Trackdays are synonyms with drivers taking their own vehicles on track and Jap Fest will be no different. All makes of car are welcome and if there are sufficient numbers, we may even see Jap Only sessions. Hot Hatch trackdays offer a perfect environment to really test your driving ability and the performance of your car; safe in the knowledge that the only thing you need to be aware of on track, is other track users. No Police, no traffic lights and no speed limits; just you and your car enjoying the unique twists and dips of the Knockhill track.

As well as all the action on track, World renowned, stunt rider Kevin Carmichael, will be on site performing his unique brand of stunts aboard his motorcycles and Mazda MX5 stunt cars. Kevin has been a regular visitor to Knockhill over the years and his displays, tricks and stunts never fail to entertain fans.

Tickets for the event can be booked via the Knockhill website, with pre-booking discounts applying to all pre-booked tickets. Alternatively, you can turn up on the day and pay at the gate, with prices as follows:

Adult £12, Conc. £8, Family £32 and Kids under 12 go free!

For those wishing to throw caution-to-the-wind and participate on track, our trackday sessions can be booked online via our Trackdays website with prices from £55 (in advance). Sessions can also be booked on the day, subject to availability. Newcomers are always welcome and a full safety briefing will be given to all drivers before venturing on track.
