Post by njord » Thu Jun 19, 2014 3:24 am

Just wondering if there is going to be a lude meet anytime soon in nr west/ nr wales

Taffy used to organise meets up at horse shoe pass and then go out in the valleys upto the evo triangle etc

Anything like this happening?

There is driving involved at the national meet. Did LLL forget to mention the mandatory bit where at half 1 on Sunday morning when we're jobby faced, we all head out in our cars to the nearest town, tear up the high st and then see who an outrun the bacon the longest?

This is the officially recognised means of confirming who has the fastest lude on LG 8-)

@duckface: yea we go out for an hours drive on saturday afternoon and end up at a photospot. Nothing too crazy though as keeping a big convoy together requires some thought. The same route driven early on sunday morning is a different matter  drive along 'buckholt road, cranham, glos'' in google maps to see what I mean.

The 'evo triangle' always seems to be the 'caravan slowdown' whenever I'm up that way  Had good fun at the meet that Bri organised. It was that meet, and the fact there wasn't one the next year, that decided me to hold an event at mine.

to be fair, I hardly ever go on the Evo Triangle due to it's popularity with traffic and the fuzz, there are much better more quieter secret driving roads around there that I know of that we can.... utilize... 8-)
