Hi all :Hello:

My name is Ben (as the tag might suggest) and I'm an artist with a working studio and gallery in St Albans, Hertfordshire.
As well as the work I produce to sell in the gallery, I work to commission a lot and produce all manner of various pieces, from fairly traditional style portraits right the way through to my latest works which are on metal.
By way of credentials, I left college in '96 and have been painting ever since, full time with the gallery for 6 years.
I now have over a thousand works out there and I'm pleased to say customers in many countries. I have a few happy customers on here already too 8-)
There are some examples below and on my website at: http://www.originalcanvases.co.uk

Just fire me an email or PM if you have an enquiry, a particular painting in mind or would just like an idea of costs, I'd be more than happy to offer anyone on LG a genuine discount, by way of support for this rather splendidly run forum. :jdm:

Cheers,

Ben

They are amazing paintings. Hats off sir. :)

What was the most expensive painting you've sold yet?

Even thought of doing a Prelude painting?

Good old Nitin, straight to the point
I can't remember off hand, but I'm doing a couple of portraits at the moment for £2.5k each if that helps?
Don't let that scare you though, I do paintings in the gallery from a couple of hundred upwards.

Yes, a lude painting is definitely on the cards, but not done one as yet.

Cheers for the kind comments mate 8-)

like the attention to detail, good stuff

I always found oil painting tricky

Ah ok I know there, I work in St Albans just behind the Law Courts, I go passed there pretty much every lunchtime. There are a few ludes arround the St Albans area we should have a meet up. ;)

Awesome artwork I really like it, a picture of a lude sounds like a superb idea.
