To clarify - that's In Car Entertainment - not frozen water

Scratch marks on the inside of headlights?

Post by simonc » Mon Jan 13, 2014 1:43 pm

Gentlemen, has anyone seen the phenomenon of 'scratch-marks' on the inside of the headlights? In daylight, there's nowt visible but when the headlights are on there's a load of swirl marks visible. It can't be the outside because I've had my lights cleaned, buffed and polished. Even though they're invisible in the daylight, when the lights are on these damned swirly scratch marks are are plain to see. Anyone come across this before?
Thanks for any advice, Simon.

sounds like they have been off and touched, maybe someone opened them up and cleaned out the dust with a cloth.. soon as you pass ANYTHING over the inside you drokk it totally, give or take.

you can make it 'better' with a really soft polish and lots of time but they will never be the same. given the time it take to get them out and strip them down if you can get a decent sh pair then go for it.
