5g OEM subwoofer

Hi

Does anyone know where the OEM subwoofer is located in the 5g?

Mine has stopped working so wanted to check the wiring

Doesn't have one I don't think, just the standard door speakers, tweeters in the door handles and then your 6x9's in the rear parcel shelf. Crazy that they produce the sound and Base that they do as they are so thin and cheap looking haha!

Yep. No subwoofer in the 5th gen.

You can get those subwoofers that fit in the space saver wheels from another car (Mazda I think)

Interesting as my 4th gen had one so I just assumed the 5g had one too.

Didn't think it was in the middle of the 2 rear seats as the whole 5g seat folds down completely.

Ok heres my dilemma then. My car went in for a service and they removed the battery which reset my head unit. Its an after market one and since then the subwoofer control does not work. I assumed I had a sub as this used to work before so the bass setting was quite low while the sub setting was higher.

Im really surprised theres no sub in the 5g's.
