I kept my spare indicators/light clusters from the old car, as i had planned to freshen up the look of them.
Whilst Led bulbs would be a start, they don't look anywhere near as snazzy as the newer cars with beautiful diffusion/focusing.
I haven't experimented yet, but some kind of diffusion material (clear silicon perhaps?), filled up inside the lamp, would give you a nice solid block of colour to go with the LED properties. I really dont like the fact you can see the single source of brightness inside the cluster with LEDs (even they themselves have multiple SMD LEDs).
Also, im conscious front indicators are very low down and quite recessed in a lowered lude - will try and bring them forward slightly if possible when i fit my front fogs...
Congratulations to vtecmec for winning May/June's Lude Of The Month, with his DIY Turbo BB1 build.

Re: Anyone Using LEDs?
Will a 4th gen use the same bulbs? I've noticed my indicators are a bit lazy too, so I was contemplating this.
