1. It looks like my car is using the K-Line protocol (ISO 9141 or ISO 14230), which corresponds pin 7 of the OBD-2 connector
2. Three wires are enough for the K protocol to work: Pins 5,7,16 of the OBD-2 connector.

3. If the 3-pin converter connects to pins 5,7,16 of the OBD-2 connector then it is promising. It is likely that the blue 3-pin socket does just that.
4. Honda uses ISO protocol (ISO 9141 or ISO 14230)
Just got to wait the the 3pin to 16pin lead.
