Centre Out Head Unit?
Hi guys, I'd like to put a 6x9 speaker in the sex blocker panel thingy as per the DSP set up, however I'm struggling to find any new head units that have a centre out?? Is anyone aware of one that would be a good choice? Must have iPod connectivity etc.

Centre out?
You can get Dolby 5.1 headunits but the centre output will be for a FRONT centre speakers.
A rear centre speaker on the 4th Gen is the Subwoofer.
Any subwoofer output will do as subs are mono.
Most headunits have 4 preouts and maybe a dedicated sub output. Use the sub output for the 6x9.
Oh and get a 6x9 subwoofer. Tang Bang, genesis and Kenwood all for one.

Sorry, long hours and crap memory mean I'm making up my own terminology
I thought the DSP head units had a dedicated feed going out for the centre speakers, as it's not right or left. I didn't think it was a sub? Tbh that's probably a better option though. I'm really tired so sorry if this sounds like bum droppings

The front speaker is part of the DSP system and requires the DSP headunit. The rear subwoofer was offered with the DSP system and as part of the stock system to add bass.
You can add the rear subwoofer no problem.
But the front centre speaker will require a DSP of some sort.
Most centre channels are L&R signals added together which is pretty Clubbing Eddy.
A good centre channel will have the DSP move the vocals to the centre with music on the left and right and ambience from the rears.
A good DSP costs ££££ (JBL MS8 for eq)
