Handbrake light coming on under acceleration

Post by rob quilter » Thu Feb 21, 2013 8:32 pm

As title really,

Over the past few days I've noticed that when I boot it, my handbrake light comes on the dash. I've noticed it happens more often when going up a hill.

Any ideas whats causing it? I presume a dodgy sensor somewhere? :?

Low brake fluid level & surge, most likely.

Possibly just due to pad wear - the reservoir seems a bit under-dimensioned on mine & makes a right mess if you wind the front pistons back in.

Good shout my man! Totally forgot about the handbrake light doubles up as a low brake fluid indicator.
