You have wiring diagrams, I've tried looking through the manual I downloaded but I can't find anything ref the three wires to that bulb...

Do you have a multi-meter Chris? Fairly easy to test if you do.

No I cant find anything on rear tail lights/side lights either

been looking ages now

@Pushki has the canbus leds, cruise and no issues at all.

I think you can assume the black goes to earth with it being separate to the others. Do you have led for tail lights and brake lights? Can you easily disconnect one and find out what's not working? Happy to bring a meter over if it can wait a couple of weeks? I'm away next weekend but free the following one.

I only have an LED in the converted reverse/fog light. Not sure whether it's a canbus.
My tail lights are still regular bulbs for now.

I don't have cruise control either (poverty spec).
