No problem. I would just tell them to trace the power feed from the alarm unit to the battery and disconnect it. That should not be difficult to do at all. ;)

the alarm will be wired to the battery but it will have a fuse between the battery and the alarm otherwise its not protected and could burn out or it could burn out the rest of the car.
