Brought one of them 12V Amplified Car Aerial Boosters, still shocking reception, no kiss 100 was ok on m25 up until m26 Gatwick junction the lost it, even radio 1 which I can get all over the UK in my work 59 plate sprinter van I couldn't get decent signal near Japfest

Definatelt your headunit. My Mcintosh MX406 can receive some of the northern stations like BBC Aire "just" from all the way down in Leicester.

Mine is kinda OK.

I have a US Spec Pioneer HU so I only get Radio 1 (on 98.5) and LBC (97.3) so I am happy.

My mate has DAB in his R34

I've never had any issues with radio reception, I only have a chav Sony headunit too
