found the exhaust is blowing - the gasket at the backbox needs replaced - will get that done asapalso cleaned IM which was very oily & changed out pcv valve and fitted heatshield that goes at the side of the alternator
once the exhaust leak is fixed im fairly sure that will cure the idle issue - if not then i can swap out iacv & alternator if needed.
manually adjusting the idle will be the last thing i look at
