Thanks Macky, that helps alot.

Can you take two more photos for me when you have time?.

One from underneath the unit so I know where the mounting points are and also one from the boot lid so I know where the location of the unit is against the parcel shelf.

I already have the cage

Hope these help:

Was difficult to get it much clearer. It was raining, the wind kept blowing the boot shut on my head & i couldnt see the screen if i tried to get any lower

I am off tomorrow so if you need anything else gimme a shout

That's brilliant mate. That helps me a lot. I'll try and get that thing on the car tomorrow.

One question! Do you still have the OEM stereo?

I've seen others car without the OEM stereo but the screen still works.

Yeah, i still use the OEM stereo. Quite a good sound off it but i hate the amber/tape look

I had bought a Kenwood stereo and had all these problems fitting it so that's how i know the problems you are experiencing!

I have an aftermarket stereo and mine works fine. That sat nav unit in the boot looks a bit different to mine. I will check later on if I get chance before I go on holiday.

Update time:

I found all the missing wire, they were hidden behind one of the plastic trim.

Connected them all up to my sat nav unit:

Then connected up the OEM stereo:

All the wires are connected now. BUT the tv screen still doesn't work.

Think I need a new screen.

the accord one looks similar nitin if you dont need those bits you got from ratty i would be interested in them

You mean the Accord sat nav looks similar or the unit box looks similar?
