I can get then to retro fit them for me. Which will take 1-2 weeks. :\ I want the car front end resprayed by this weekend so I can have it ready for south Mimms.
I was thinking of buying a set of those projector/halo lights from USA too but again they will at least take 2-3 weeks to arrive.
So I am just going to get a lens (which is better condition then mines) and going to for that in.
I will open up the lights and get the surround resprayed in black while I'm fitting the new lens cover.

Do you have a link as to where we could get these projectors?

I used RTV silicone from Amazon. some people said it was really good, but then after buying it I heard reports that moisture can get past the silicon. Early days for mine of course, but so far no problems.nitin_s1 wrote:I just want to ask,
When you want to put the headlights back together, what seal do you use??
Some of write-ups on PreludePower they say you can just re-heat and put it back together. Is that enough? or do I need a sealant?![]()

Thanks. I would think straightforward. The main reason I chose the morimoto minis was for ease of fitment. No great big hole needed to be cut into the existing reflector. Just open up the existing hole and grind flat on the back.Thebusofwoe wrote:That looks uberAndy. Well done mate, looks like a top job. I wonder how easy to fit these into 4th gen headlights
EDIT: Should add that the only concern I had was that the shroud is very close to the front 'glass'. You need to be sure you have enough depth there. Otherwise might have to go with one sunk back into the reflector.
These are the projectors I used. Remember to select RHD if you order any.

Yea I am going chap. Was just looking through the link you gave us, it has a pic with measurements. So could measure it out, see if it's possible. So you ordered them from the states, how much was the total delivered?
