Spoon chip - worth fitting?

So shall I forget the convertor, fit the chipped ECU and leave it at that? ..I'd quite like VTEC in first though - but as it seems like a fair amount of hassle I might just let it go..

Fit the chip and move the converter.

The converter is, afaik, fitted in line with the cabling, and is three wires. Shouldn't be too hard to move, pretty sure someone on here will have more of a clue. Someone like @Ammo perhaps?

Thanks that's great :) I'll have a look later.. I hope I don't trash it!

Actually that link says if I put the convertor behind the dash, I will get VTEC in first but the 112mph limiter won't be removed. So I will then rely on the Spoon chip to remove the limiter?

Thanks Ammo, but what am I missing? The convertor on the left has 6 wires the one on the right only has 4..

The converters only have 4 wires, the one on the left is showing them "passing through" the converter.

Yours will prob be wired like the right one, just near the VSS

What do jdm clocks look like? My clocks are in mph but no vtec in first and no limiter?
Sold:-98 prelude 2.2vti motegi.
Sold:-99 2.0 full h22a5 2.2vti convertion.
Dead:- 92 jdm import si bb4 rocket ship (modded).
Sold:- 95 2.2vtec si jdm import lsd bb4

New old trakter:- Seat ibiza 1.9sdi commute slagggg
