Halfords have the MVH-8300BT on half price  down to £250 so i tried to do an online reserve and collect, but it won't let me, have to buy online.

So i popped into Halfords with £250 of crisp notes in my hand and after waiting half an hour, they informed me it is an online offer only. I said OK, order it online and i'll pay cash.

They wouldn't do this. I explained that if i wanted to buy it online, i can buy it from CAD at £189, so why would i pay £250 online with Halfords? I was happy to pay £60 more to pay cash and collect it in store in person.

They still wouldn't do this. Way to lose a £250 sale, twats.

They're not known as Halfrauds for nothing ...

How come you can't order online?

Ahhh! Subterfuge. I understand - what you need then, is a mate who lives nearby with a credit card ;)

Indeed, and one who doesn't talk too much when really pissed....

Deceit has a habit of biting me in the arse, she knows i do it, but never really to what extent.

Just spent £250 on a point and shoot camera as she wants to go to Prague for a weekend and i said i'm not taking my DSLR, so will only go if i get a new pocket camera. That was with full permission. To gain permission for "another piece of crap for the car" is a much more difficult task.
