Claim you are poor and get a best price off them. I got my new battery from Honda for £53 or something.

The parts fella intially tried to find Type-S specific battery, not surprisingly without any luck  After they spoke to Honda UK who said, as did I originally, try a VTi battery! £65 including VAT. Better, but, I'm still going to do some searching 'round. The battery will hold for a while, but 1 very cold spell and I can see it failing.

Finally bit the bullet and bought a Varta e23 type 068 70ah battery for 58 squid from a local car shop 8-)

Found similar prices online, like this one

One thing I'd not taken into account...are all 2.2 Ludes (JDM & UKDM) batteries positive right front when looking at the battery before installation?

Yep you need a trailer to tow a 5th gen battery to power the headlights
