What's this?

A couple of 'what's this' questions that I haven't got round to looking up in the manual yet...
(Both relating to my UKDM lude.)
Firstly, this spare connector that's lurking behind the drivers side tweeter cover.
Secondly, this thing that looks like a buzzer, behind the clock fascia (where the TV would go if the car was

enough)
Anyone know?

The first one is some sort of connector.
What it's for though, I don't know.

lol are you sure
the green one looks like its from your clocks has your car been converted from an auto? second one is either the bell or buzzer for lights on, keys left in,reverse or door open and I think it also has something to do with the dash dimmer

Nope, manual from build.
It is the exact same type of connector and same length of flying lead as the connector that does go to the clocks on that side though, so I was wondering the same as you (possible connector for autos)

I wondered that too, but the buzzer for all that schenangans is in the footwell fuse box
I think it also has something to do with the dash dimmer
Hmmm... I like yer thinking there!

Nope, this resistor (transistor if JDM climate control) is in the top of the fan box, as it needs cooling while in operation. Dash removal job to get at, even though the bible says in can be done in situ

I don't know what the green plug is for, but It certainly doesn't go into the clocks on an auto. The plugs are all bigger and use side contacts rather than pins.
