Hi all
yesterday (or even before ?), the stop lights (all 3 of them) stopped working. the white sensor on the pedal seems to run fine, the fuse is ok, the bulbs seem fine... any other clue ?

It could be the relay or an earth has come off etc.... Have a look at section 23-80 (page 1188) of the 5th gen service manual for the brake light wiring diagram (the one with links):

Might be an idea to check whether you're getting power to the bulb holder.
I had a thing where one of my bulbs wasn't lighting up, and there was indeed power to the holder. A bit of judicious bending of contacts sorted that one, plus a change of bulb although the old one looked OK to me. Not likely for all three at once, though.

Does your horn work?

Ratty I just came across this thread as all three brakelights have stopped working on mine. So has my horn. Problem is my fuse box is in Japanese and I can't tell which fuse is which so was looking for a fuse guide when I came across this. So what's the deal with my lights and horn mate?

Would it be fuse 41 in the under bonnet fuse box? I've had a look over the service manual and that's what controls brake lights and also my horn from what I can see. Electrics are not my forte! Lol

Fixed! There was a 7.5 amp fuse instead of a 15 amp fuse in position 41 under the bonnet! Lol. Replaced the dead fuse and now everything's bk to normal.
