Pulled a wire from the Fog light connector :(

To clarify - that's In Car Entertainment - not frozen water

Pulled a wire from the Fog light connector :(

Post by nitin_s1 » Thu Apr 10, 2014 9:37 pm

While I was taking the bumper off the car, I managed to pull the wire out of the fog light connector thing.. :x  :(

See in the pic, the orange wire is pulled out. :(

How do I fix this? And I don't think I can find fog light connectors cheap :(

Chop the ends off, and spade them? Or I have two fog light connectors on my 4g that are not used if they are the same :? Could cut one and you re connect it to your loom?

If they are the same then can you sell me yours. It will be easier for me to wire in to a new connector and put back rather then trying to fix the broken one? 8-)

That will only work if you have some cable left on the metal spade. Otherwise you will have to open up the spade and strip wire back to re clamp it :? if you can't sort it, let me know. I will see if the 4th connector is the same.
