To clarify - that's In Car Entertainment - not frozen water

Climate control in a UKDM 5th Gen

Post by andypont » Sun Apr 20, 2014 4:53 pm

HI,
A few weeks ago I bought a climate control system off Samiya,
He was kind enough to include all sensors, the dash loom and heater / blower loom as well as the control unit and all blower and heater motors and units.
I have finally got round to fitting this with having a long weekend and am having some problems with the wiring.
The original UKDM and the new JDM dash looms vary in that the UK one has connectors to the switch panel (sunroof, cruise, rear fogs and headlight adjustment) most of which are missing on the JDM which has the dash temp and sunlight sensors that aren't on the UK one of course.
I think I will have to compare and cut / splice both looms to be able to get one that does everything I want. but before I start felt it would be wise to ask if anyone has fitted this system on to a UK spec car? If so then how were the sensors connected?
I have two dash sensors with wiring as mentioned above, and also have an outside temp sensor that mounts behind the front grill. This just has 2 wires that have been cut with no sign of them connecting in to the related loom. Can anyone tell me where this sensor needs to be connected to please?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks, but apparently the 4th gen is very different so might not be much help.
