Cruise max speed

Hi all, my JDM BB4's cruise control will only set at a max speed of 100km/h.

If any of you guys have an auto 4g Prelude with cruise which is European market, could you let me know if yours behaves the same or if you can set the cruise faster than 62mph?

Then, if so, hopefully I could just swap the cruise control module for a european one. So a part number off yours would also be useful!

Isn't the cruise control speed controlled by the ecu? In my first UK Lude I could set my cruise control way higher than 62mph.. do you still have the 112mph limiter still in place?

Do UKDM 4th gen h23a2 have 112mph limiters in them too? Have wondered this for a while!

I think I'm on the same track as @bb1boy in that thinking since there is a max speed limiter on JDM vehicles, perhaps they limit the cruise also/it's linked through the same magic. So if it's max speed limited, perhaps removing the limiter will solve the cruise issue.

Likewise my UK 5th doesn't have a limiter on CC (although tbh I haven't set it that high - certainly higher than 62mph though).

i have a jdm 4th auto still limited and the cc wont go higher than 70 if i remember correctly

Teds correct on the jdm models with limiters, ones derestricted might be different. The auto I had for a month would only do 70, you could press the up to go faster for overtaking but as soon as you let go it would drop back to 70. Uk cars dont have the limiter.

As Newkid said, swap the CC ECU for a UK one and the limiter is no more.

I've not managed to get the 'new' 5g above 115 yet, but when I tried the cruise control at that speed it was happy to have a go.
Scary.
I switched it off immediately.

mines not limited at top end but still wont go past 115 kph on the cruise control. always thought using a uk CC ecu would sort the problem but nothing happened when that was plugged in

it does have the 4 plug p13 ecu so wondering if that has something to do with it ?
