To clarify - that's In Car Entertainment - not frozen water

Keyless entry?

Post by MrsGreeny » Mon May 26, 2014 7:05 pm

So got the Lude home and have been having a good look around. I've noticed it has keyless entry, or so I think? What do I need for this to work and for me to be able to use it? Expect a lot of questions from me. I do not know a lot about much (unless it's to do with care! Lol) but I want to learn :)

If you don't have a fob it is quite easy to add an aftermarket system. I bought a hawk one off eBay.

If it has had one previously, as it sounds like, at least you know it will have the actuators already in the door. Makes the aftermarket ones even easier to fit. It's worth considering.

Since I will probably buying the alarm haha. Can I just get a clifford unit for instance that will work with this?
Or do I need something specific.

And bless her she is trying.. Very! Eager to learn :) which is handed for me. Means I can delegate and sit there when we work on the cars
