Depends if the wiring behind your stereo has already been butchered by a previous install or not.
Also, depending on age of the head unit you currently have fitted, it may well already have an ISO connector already, so that would meand you can just unplug your existing stereo and plug in the new one.
Photo if the front of your existing head unit would give us a clue, but the real way to tell is to yank it out and send us photos of the connection ribbons on the back/behind it.

take everything out and look at what you have rather than thinking you know as wurly says.
then go get the right one from halfrauds. you can see which you need and test it that way.

Pioneer stuff is good, so don't worry there. The worst bit of the system will be the speakers and the mp3 going into the headunit!
If you have an original stereo yep, probably won't have an ISO connector and you will need that adapter, but take it apart and check to be sure.

I like it.... Looks very elegant.... And pioneer is one of the best at kicking out great quality sound. One of the guys from my gym bought a cheap ebay doubledin DVD player for his TT, sound terrible and cd is always skipping...worst thing is he has upgraded all the speakers amps and got a sub... But it sounds terrible......

I told him he should have spent the money on a better HU...

I was thinking about getting one from china as they cheap, but then changed my mind. you get what you pay for. I did not want to spend hundreds on satnav, dvd as I would never use them but wanted double din one. Recently won auction on ebay for this:
Should be better than any chinese replica. Any kenwood, pioneer, clarion would be good. And I hope this will sound much better than my rubbish jvc 100 year old stereo
