To clarify - that's In Car Entertainment - not frozen water

Its all to do with the spoiler light, if you have a spoiler brake light the high level brake light was disabled, same as those with 5th gens, the window one worked if you had no spoiler, those with a spoiler the window one didn't work. Cant remember were i read about it but you cant have both working as brake lights as maximum brake lights allowed is three. Two normal and one high level.

Or the previous owner rewired it! Newkid is right though, from factory there can only be 3.

Mine was plug and play. It goes on when the brake light is pressed. I have R, L, and spoiler brake lights, plus the Prelude logo.

I'd love to wire it up to a rear fog light switch (which I have) so I can turn it on and off at will. I'm not great with wiring though. =/

^That would only work with the running lights though wouldn't it? In order to shut off the logo, I'd have to douse all my lights.

The problem is the logo light is illegal here in Canada, so I'd love to be able to switch it on and off independently of other lights (like a fog light), in the event that I spot a cop.

What is the rear fog light tapped into on the cars over there?

Whoops, misread. thought it read that it would come on only with the brake lights!
