Hi again, (I did say I have lots of questions!)

I have a Clifford Alarm system on my car which incorporates the remote start; is there any way I can get rid of the Clifford alarm and keep the remote start? I also have a question about wheels which I think I ought to post elsewhere, so one more coming up. (Sorrrreee  )

In short, no. I assume your remote start module is part of the Clifford alarm. The only way you can do it is to rip out all Clifford gubbins and buy a universal remote start kit from somewhere else.

That's what I thought..... I dont fancy that. The blooming alarm is a nuisance sometimes, is all.

You can turn most functions off and on, auto-locking (or anti-car jacking, what ever they call it) for example. You just need to know your valet code, where your valet switch is and the alarm instruction manual to tell you which combination of buttons to press for each function etc.
