ALRIGHT!

Currently smashing it but thought a pause was necessary in order to see if anyone knows what's under the armrest and gearstick malarky or if anyone has a how to of the removal of this without dismantling the dash?

yay, nay, ah well... Worth a go....

Download the 5th gen service manual and it will show you how to remove the centre console

6 screws. That's it. Remove gearknob and pull it up and disconnect the ash tray light.
