Rear FOG light on JDM 5G.

Post by nitin_s1 » Thu Mar 22, 2012 6:54 pm

Hello guys,

Just wanted to make sure. Do you have to have a Rear FOG light on a import Prelude? Will it pass MOT?

My Type-S has had it's rear fog light on one of the reverse lights and it's a bogged job. :? Some of the wires are just cut and loose. So thinking of putting the reverse light back in there and having the rear fog light separate.

Thanks for any help.

You need a fog light for MOT

Why add a nasty extra fog light when it's in the reverse light already?

I don't want to add another one of those nasty box that hangs on the bumper. But I can use that to pass the MOT and then ditch that.
At the moment, all the wires are spliced and cut up. Not sure which is which.

Now that I have an electrician's attention. Can you tell me which one of those wires is the wire that goes in the 3rd brake lights (there are like three wires coming out the brake light bulb: green, red and black) Which is the one that I connect up to the 3rd brake light in the spoiler. :?: :?:

It's a Prelude, I can guarantee that any wiring colours will be different in most of the cars
