Hi
I have has my lude in for MOT today and it failed on a few things, one was the n/s headlight aim was too low and it wouldnt adjust up apparantley,
So i have ordered a second hand cluster off ebay for £30, and i was wondering how easy these are to replace?, as im not a mechanic sort of person myself but wanna keep costs down, so will maybe try it myself
Or does anyone have any help or tips to adjusting the existing headlamp???
Thanks

Unsure on the 5G, but on the 4G it's fairly easy, but does involve removing the front bumper.

It's easy but the lower mount (E: headlight, I mean) on the pass. side can be a right PITA because there's some pipe jobby in the way.

Thankfully the 5th gens front bumper comes off much easier than the 4th gens

If you need to know exactly how th e5th gen bumper comes off have a read of the 5th gen service manual

Give it a go mate it's a 10 min job max.
Two bolts in the front wings, some clips on that front grill where the bonnet catch is, then some underneath where the splash tray is. If you have a front lip there should be two fixing s going into the front arch liners. Just remember to unplug the indicators/fogs before you go mad pulling the bumper away.

The service manual is written for US Ludes so there may be a few differences in mechanics. For instance UK cars have electronic height adjustable headlights for towing whereas the US version does not.

Have you checked to see if you have accidentally knocked the electronic adjuster on the dash to make the headlights point towards the ground?

Or if the connector to the adjuster on that one headlight has been disconnected, so it's set wrong?
