im looking at wiring my rear bumper fog into the offside reverse light, im pretty sure the reverse light wire is the GREEN/BLACK one, anyone know if this is correct? i got lost in trying to find it in the manual
plus, if this is the correct wire is it a case of just cutting that wire and moving the old positive wire from the fog to that instead?
ta!

Just had a look at my spare cluster and yep it's the green/black one. Snip that wire somewhere between the connector in the chassis and where it splits from the nearside, seal the end that remains attached to nearside to prevent shorts and then extend your fog light +ve wire and join it to the loose end of the green black wire which goes to the connector for the offside. Should work fine

That's a nice idea. Just a question tho, is this legal to do in UK?
Here we can have rear fog lights and do whatever we want with them since they are not required at all.

It is indeed, most uk spec cars come from the factory with the fog built in to the rear O/S cluster.
Reversing lights aren't a legal requirement so it's no problem recommissioning one as a fog light instead where there wasn't a fog light fitted as standard.

I think it is a requirement to have at least one reversing light?
