My lights dont work,
After taking the spoiler apart the light is not connected to anything (nor is there a wire loom).
There is also no 3rd brake light on the parcel shelf.
Can anyone shed any light?
Cheers!
And Happy 2015!

It looks like there's some wiring missing.

Is there any 'spare' wiring inside the boot?
If it's like a 4th gen, it should run from the passenger side rear light cluster, up along the inside of the inner wing on that side and then up the passenger side bootlid hinge.
Can you take a pic of the back of the led bar? I'm guessing that the wiring should come out in the centre of the bar but has been cut off for some reason. It may be possible to strip the ends and connect some new wiring to it, depending on how much is left...
Also, is there a spare hole in the bootlid for the wire to pass through from the spoiler, or does it only have enough holes for the bolt fixings? It may well be that your car didn't originally have a spoiler with a high level spoiler brake light and someone swapped the spoiler on later in life by couldn't be bothered to do the wiring.

According to PreludePower forum, pics shown wire loom runs from spoiler along boot closing/opening structs into car - I couldn't see any of mine.
The back of light has a attachment to plug in wires (nothing cut off ).
I will check the wing for spare wires.
Funny thing, I was sure it was working before (but not 100%).
Maybe re-spray guy removed it and forgot to attached?
I will ask them too ..

Ah that's a result. The 4g light is hard wired out of the cluster hence my assumption a 3g would be the same, but having a plug means it's fixable one way or another

My 3g has the hi-level rear brake light fitted as an aftermarket item into the original boot spoiler. I'll check my cable routings tomorrow morning for you and report back. As Wurly says, I definitely have two supplementary wires running up the Drivers side boot strut, which I've always assumed were for the brake light, Honda would have secreted them in side the bodywork if the light was O.E. may not be able to confirm exactly where the wires enter the boot spoiler as I'm unwilling to unbolt it all, but will check as best I can.

My Luke has none of those wire looms in the boot

Mine neither, don't recognise the flexi conduit at all. Definitely not O.E. Honda, they are aftermarket electrical conduit, but fit for purpose.

Honda did use electrical conduit like that
