So I want to upgrade and relocate my battery, for weight distribution and to make the engine bay seem less cluttered
I have found this
http://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/161404840770?nav=SEARCH
would that be upto the job?
Also looking for a few pointers on the relocation: best place to put it, any specific wiring to use, connectors etc..
any info on this greatly appreciated as usual

Mine is a Lightweight car audio battery at around 12kg.
I moved mine to the boot.
I have 0awg cable running from the battery to the engine bay. I have put a 300amp fuse on BOTH ends.
In the engine bay the wires then split to the starter motor at 0Aawg, the HID system and my water injection.
The another 4awg cable connects to the engine fuse box.
The battery negative uses 0awg and so does the engine block.
DONE.
Only diffrerence on mine is the amplifiers in the boot at connected to the 0awg fused block in the boot.

Odyssey are a very reputable brand, but that being a race spec and extremely light it might not be sufficient in a daily and running a stereo and sub setup etc.

Ahhhh might look into a battery like that then Ratty, cheers
I do plan on keeping my current audio setup..
Never considered that Nath just thought if its good enough for a race car im sure it can handle a sub and an amp

but then they aren't designed for a daily setup...
Does say design life 8-10 years however... hmm

I use a stinger svp44. Just ignore the price when you pay and don't tell your wife.....or husband.

It's the exact opposite - Race cars don't have anything like the current draw of a daily car (especially ones with big sound systems) because they have none of the 'hotel' loads.
