Lude Generation

kept meaning to post about this issue. my windscreen wiper stalk pretty much went on fire recently - smoke came from them so ive swapped out that side stalk on the column but they are still running at half the speed they are supposed to go at. wiper motor burning out maybe?

Sounds like a poor earth to the wipers or water in one of the connectors, drawing higher current through the circuit?
