Spoiler Brake light - does this look right?

To clarify - that's In Car Entertainment - not frozen water

Spoiler Brake light - does this look right?

Post by simonc » Sun May 31, 2015 7:28 am

Hi All,
Just wanted to get your opinion on my spoiler brake light. To me it seems a bit 'anaemic', especially toward the outside edges.
Apologies for taking the photos during the middle of the day but I hope you can see the point I'm getting at.
Should its brightness be the same all the way across its width or am I just nitpicking?
If there is something not right, I'd be grateful for a nudge in the right direction as to how to fix it.
Big thanks, as ever for your thoughts. ;)

As you can see, a bit of a poor do at the outer edges.

Sorry this is a bit blurry

I wonder if a strip of red LEDs would improve things?

Ta guys. Okay, it's not life or death but I would like a nice bright back end (oooerrrr, missis).
So if take the 'holder' out, I can take it to to one of the million LED shops round here. replace and /or refit new LEDs and get them all bright and shiny?
