Lude Generation

Hi all,

I've done a little search so I would now like some clarification..

My drivers side door window doesn't move up and down anymore, when I press the switch I can hear the motor turning, but the window stays still. The search suggests that it is a faulty window regulator, can anyone confirm/deny this, please?

Can you just hear the motor running, or can you hear some clanking about as well?

No clanking, just motor whizzing.. if I click up to 'auto', it spins and spins until you click it back down.. does that make sense?

If the problem is the regulator then yes mate, I need one. It can wait til you're home though - suits my cash flow a little better too.
