Replacement upgrade speakers for 2.0 5g prelude

Just Installed new Alpine bluetooth double din stereo unit to replace existing Honda stereo unit in my 5th gen prelude (CD player was broken and not worth fixing)
The new Stereo produces 4x50watts and would note that existing speakers are only capable of 15watts (2.0 prelude)
Does anyone know what would be the best replacement speakers to buy for the head unit
However the replacement speakers need to be same size as original speakers, as I don't want to cut chunks out of rear parcel shelf and door cards
Also what size are the speakers in the door cards?
And where to buy them in the Edinburgh area if possible
I could also do with some tweeters that I hope to fit in empty tweeter space beside the door handles as only the VTEC cars are fitted with them
Also do I need original prelude tweeters or will aftermarket ones fit in the space?

Sorry to be a nuisance but stereo is only working at low volume with rear speakers at present as my existing front drivers door speaker is suffering from distortion

Cheers

Andy

I tried to speak to guys at Halfords where i bought the head unit but they did not have a clue about replacement speakers for the car especially tweeters

You will be able to get aftermarket tweeters that fit. Alternatively, you could ask one of the guys that is breaking a vtec 5th gen on here?

The speakers themselves being lower rated than the head unit isn't necessarily a problem, it just means you can't run the head unit at Max volume (which you're unlikely to do anyway?)

If you're buying fitting tweeters, whatever you really place the woofers with, don't get 2-way speakers (I.e. ones with an extra tweeter built into the middle of the main woofer) cause it will be too much. Ideally you want a pair of 2-way components, which will come with a woofer and separate tweeter.

Your head unit will only produce 4x15wrms 20w at a push.
Ignore the 50wX4 stuff.

Rear parcel shelf speakers are 6x9. From doors are 6" and tweeters are behind the door handle.

Ratty

Head unit is Alpine CDE W235BT producing 4x50Watts

The lad at halfords told me to fit speakers capable of 100watts?

What is wrms?

Car is only 2.0 and does not have tweeters fitted as standard

Two different measurements of power. Peak, and Root Mean Square. Most manufacturers will use Peak to advertise their products, as it's the higher number - but RMS is the more accurate figure to work with.

Your alpine is 50W x 4 Peak, but 18W x 4 RMS according to the Alpine site.
