DRL or DIY DRL

Hey ! I have '98 Prelude and i was wondering if it has legit DRL or last owner DIY DRL on it.

Headlight switch OFF position, Ignition on 2nd position, low beams turn on, no parking lights, licence plate lights, rear light, only low beams. The lights work otherwise as meant when i adjust the headlight switch position.
So is this a legit feature in the car or DIY ? i would want to convert the power of the ''DRL'' to aftermarket led install lights to save the low beams from burning all the time.

Hi, is this a UK car? A JDM car? Or somewhere else?

This is European model (Finland), but i guess its DIY then. Is there a diagram somewhere about how the headlights are wired ? because there isnt any ''stealers'' put on the low beam connector on the headlamps, so he must have done it somewhere else.

The wiring diagrams are in the service manual (there's a link to it in the wiki section of this forum). Note that the manual is a US manual though, so there might be some differences on things like this.
