guys my plasma clock is going round and round but its only the hrs thats going round, ever since my power steering pump failed and threw fluid over my alternator. how can i stop the clock?

My ukdm went through a spare of doing that, intermittently (though that was with the minutes as well).
I took the dash apart and cleaned the adjustment knob and associated connectors with electrical contact cleaner. Don't know for sure if that was the cause or not, but it branded itself afterwards.
