Larger Capacity Battery??

Post by norks27 » Mon May 01, 2017 6:34 pm

Quick question:

My sat nav is rather temperamental and a recent battery change saw it's behaviour improve, though it is still twitchy.
With a subwoofer in the boot and a double din sat nav unit, would you recommend a higher capacity battery??

The battery I have at the moment is the standard spec battery, not sure the figures.

Thanks,

Richard

No not really. How many amps does the amp put out?

I was running 4 amps 2 of which are highly inefficient class a amps. Total amps was around 70amps at full power which it never was. Music is never full power. Radios don't use much power.
You only use the battery when engine is off and the alternator pumps out 90amps on the prelude.

Thanks Ratty

Will try factory reset. Unit is modest at 4x50peak I think. So much lower real world wattage, RMS, I think they call it.

Subwoofer I think, is only 100W
