4th Gen JDM - 10A PGM-FI Fuse Keeps Blowing on Ignition?

Hi Guys,
I've recently purchased a very early JDM 4th Gen (H22a LSD Auto with TCS - very rare). I bought it as a non runner, the car was due to be scrapped by the previous owner that day before I enquired about it and bought it. The previously owner said the car was running fine, they had removed the battery for another car for 13 months. After that, they put the battery back in and nothing was happening.
Anyway firstly, it had a dodgy immobiliser which I removed and soldered the ignition wires back to original. It was connected directly to the ignition, not the fuel relay (what some alarm/immobiliser fitters do. Once that was off, the ignition came on perfectly.
I then noticed I couldn't hear the fuel pump prime. I checked the fuse and found it had blow (fuse 4). So I changed it turned on the ignition and it blew again. I then replaced the fuel main relay and it did the same again.
I have had a quick scan over the earths in the engine but couldn't find anything obvious. I'm due to have a thorough look next Friday.
Has anyone else ever had this problem? I really want to save this one, its in good nick and definitely too good to break. Any suggestion and advise will be appreciated.
Cheers
